Aloha Friday #3

Aloha Friday is hosted each week by Kailani at An Island Life. Visit her for more fun questions!

My question for you this week is:

Do you prefer that I keep making separate "WINNER" posts for each giveaway, or would you rather I just edit that information into the original contest post(s)?

Either is fine with me; my goal is to make this the most user-friendly blog I possibly can, so your input is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

☺☻☺☻☺

P.S. Based on last week's poll responses, I'm going to continue making the upcoming giveaways a surprise. However, friends on Facebook will sometimes get early sneak peeks on the next day's prize in the "Our Giveaways" photo album.

  1. separate winner posts means it's easier to find if one has won something. it also saves scrolling (for the lazy folk out there like me).

  2. Leave a seperate 'winner' post! It won't take much time i suppose and its much easier to know who won that way!

  3. I've come by way of your other blog which I found on Mrs. 4444's Friday Fragments. I am loving this idea. I have an Etsy shop and would love to offer something for a giveaway. How can I get involved? star8278@gmail.com

    Thanks!

  4. I like the individual winner posts....I do not like it when blogs post a LIST of winners & you have to read this huge list....

  5. I think a separate post is a good thing - I'm not in the habit of going back to look at the original. You could probably just do a weekly post if you do a lot of giveaways instead of an individual one for each giveaway.

  6. i like the separate post. but i expect (from other blogs) for just the original post to be modified...you're spoiling us!

  8. I just edit the original giveaway post and then email the winner with the link and also tweet the updated link.

Until I can find a way to have one winner's post, I'm not going to be putting so many winner's post up separately.

I always email the winner with the link, so it's not like they have to come check if they win or no...but I understand the choice is different for everyone.

I know that I don't like just being told that I won, and have no clue what it is though since I enter so many giveaways myself.
