THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED. CONGRATULATIONS, SCRUMMY
BAO!
BAO!
Recently, my good friend Stephanie and I had the opportunity to review a handknit wool soaker from the Etsy shop GrandmaGift11. Steph's baby Luke is the model and tester - isn't he cute?!
I will go ahead and let Stephanie tell you about her experience:
"Hand knit wool diaper covers are an amazing thing! The wool has “magic” properties that allow it to absorb moisture without wicking to the outside or smelling.
"The “soaker” that we received is knit well and the measurements are accurate. After washing & lanolizing it, we put it to the test during Luke’s nap!
"Normally, Luke will soak a diaper during his nap, but fleece pants or a quality wool cover are able to keep the sheets dry. This soaker did an excellent job and didn’t even feel wet on the outside! This cover is thin & lightweight but that doesn’t stop it from doing its job.
"Luke’s been wearing the soaker around the house for a few days now because it is so much easier to practice crawling without shorts to get tangled up on. Each day after it dries out it goes back to its regular size & shape and smells just like my ‘Monkey Farts’ wool wash!"
Sounds good to me - thanks, Stephanie!
Today's giveaway is sponsored by Tamara of GrandmaGift11. The winner, who must be have a US or Canadian address, can pick anything from her shop!
As you can see, there are plenty of options for both boys and girls. Makes me wish I had a little baby of my own to dress in one of Tamara's sweet creations!
All of the soakers in the shop are listed at $20, and based on Stephanie's description, I would say that they are definitely worth that modest price!
GrandmaGift11 also carries several adorable pairs of baby legwarmers for your little tot. Isn't this pair so charming?
And finally, there are a few sets of matching soakers and legwarmers, like this one, that would look adorable on your wee one!

I'd love a wool soaker but believe all on the Etsy site are 0-6 months so I'd have to go with the Hand-knitted wool baby leg warmers.

Posted about your giveaway here (since I don't have a personal blog...I share one with my family; but I figured this forum gets much more traffic than my family blog!):
