Giveaway and Review: Framed Photo and Matching Cards from BlueBoat Photo

THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED. CONGRATULATIONS, STEPHANIE GRACE!

This next giveaway is sponsored by Leslie from the Etsy shop BlueBoat Photo. The winner must have a US address.

For review purposes, Leslie sent me an example of exactly what one of you will receive as the prize for this contest: a print reproduction of one of her crazy-amazing photos, along with a set of three matching cards. The only difference is, your print will be framed!

About her prints, Leslie tells me, "I create the photos by taking photographs of prints, designs or real life images and layer the pictures with an oil paint application. Then I continue to layer different filters on top until I'm happy with the end result. In the development process, they are created with a linen textured finish which gives them the look of a piece of art work instead of just a photograph. Not only does the consumer receive a unique, handmde note card, they can in turn use the note card as a lovely print to be framed and enjoyed afterwards!"

Sounds pretty good, right?

And let me tell you, these cards are really cool. They are thick, high-quality pieces which you will be proud to send to a loved one. As soon as I received mine, I immediately started thinking about who I could send a lovely note card to - but I haven't chosen my recipients yet. No one is good enough for these. Ha! I kid... but it'll have to be someone special! ;)

Leslie also includes a matching envelope with each card, to present the perfect epistle.

The lovely BlueBoat Photo logo appears on the back of each card.

The winner will get to choose his or her print from the shop, and Leslie will create a set of cards to match.

There are lots of options, so be sure to choose your photo carefully!

The photo you receive will be framed by Leslie. What a lovely gift this would make, or a charming addition to your home décor.

I just love the idea of matting a photo with newsprint - great concept!!

So have a look through BlueBoat Photo and just think about all the wonderful choices Leslie has made available to us!

  20. Gosh, that one was hard! I like a lot of the scenery pictures. Some of my favorites were: Respite, End of Time, Windswept, Dunes, Whisper, Winter Walk. Hard to choose.
